BRIEF: “Zena, I’m not really sure what I want, but I do know that I don’t want it to look like all the other fish & chips shops.  No fish in my logo please! Oh, and I need to keep the same font” – Marisa Moreira (Owner)

BRAND: The symbol I decided to go with was an ‘anchor’, which might seem simple and obvious enough (no hidden message there really) but of all the symbols I could have chosen (no fish), I settled on the anchor because: it wasn’t like any other fish & chips shop logos and an anchor made it more about the fisherman than the fish.  (I feel I’ve said the word: fish, too many times here)

Marisa wanted more of a beach/nautical theme, so when she asked me to design her menus and later her website (see below), I carried that theme throughout.
